So if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort from love, any participation in the Spirit, any affection and sympathy, complete my joy by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind. Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others.

Philippians 2:1-4

and so I feel I need to add that when we do align our hearts with Christ's in these ways, that as we keep care of our ownselves-in body, mind and spirit-our hearts will become filled with the Love of Christ. But also if we remain near Him by being vulnerable and giving it all to Him-every minute of everyday- we might find that it is only when we practice this act of letting go for ourselves that we can be truly available to others. Those whom He loves so much, that He throws them into our open hearts. Hearts that are finally capable of not only caring for eachother but also we find ourselves able to help eachother carry some pain for a while, to help open eachothers heavy hearts that can at times be so so full of pain there is very little or no room to receive anything more, however good that Love can be. So by looking to our own interest we ARE looking to the interests of others.

Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep His promise. Let us think of ways to motivate eachother to acts of Love and good works. And to let us not neglect our meeting together as some people do, but encourage one another, especially now that the day of His return is drawing near.
